Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Cold maceration ('cold soak') followed by gentle pressing. Natural sedimentation to clarify the juice, then temperature-controlled fermentation and vinification in stainless steel.
Straw-yellow colour, with floral notes, rosemary, lychee, pink grapefruit, ripe pear and a hint of quince on the nose. Juicy and charming on the palate. Continued finesse and elegance, with a touch of cream as well as ripe yellow-fruit flavours. Very balanced and finely structured.
From vines that were planted around 40 years ago in a south-west-facing plot situated above the village of Siebeldingen at an altitude of around 185 metres above sea level. The soil consists of shell limestone and marine sediments.
