Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Gentle pressing followed by natural sedimentation to clarify the juice. Subsequent fermentation and maturation in temperature-controlled stainless steel.
Medium lemon. Subtle ginger, ripe citrus, and minerally notes. The acidity is saline and minerally. Multilayered, complex, elegant and fine, with a finish that never seems to end – a wine so fascinating to drink. Great ageing potential.
'Ganz Horn' – a designated area within the 'Im Sonnenschein' vineyard – is a vineyard that enjoys shelter from cold winds. It is situated between 160 and 225 metres above level. The soil is a mixture of sand and sandstone as well as gravel and loam, while the incline varies between five and 20 degrees.
