Meticulous selection of immaculate hand-picked grapes. Gentle pressing followed by wild-yeast fermentation in traditional Fuder (oak casks). Subsequent maturation on the gross lees for 24 months as well as a further 12 months' ageing in bottle before release.
This is a pure, delicate Riesling from a vineyard with predominantly blue slate soil. Very elegant and nuanced, with fine pome fruit and white peach notes.
From the blue slate soils of Wehlener Sonnenuhr - Im Laychen.
