Fermentation for 35 days followed by transfer to a small barrel
Red fruit and meaty notes on a generous, fresh nose. Powerful, deep and structured on the palate, with firm tannins and a juicy finish.
The Reward derives from 80 Syrah vines that grow in the Pisoni Vineyard – a site known as one of California's most sought-after terroirs for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The grapes ripen slowly on granite soils. This is a wine born of cool mornings, blankets of fog, and hard-scrabble terrain.
