Separate maceration (skin contact) and fermentation for each clone in small stainless steel vessels. Maturation, including malolactic fermentation, for 16 months in French oak vessels (65% first-use). The wine was bottled in Febrauary 2024.
In der Nase ist der Russian River Valley Pinot Noir geprägt von reifen Kirschen, Brombeeren, Wildkräutern, Gewürzen und etwas Waldboden. Der mittlere Körper, der sich niemals schwer anfühlt, wird von geschmeidigen, reifen Tanninen komplettiert. Bereits sehr zugänglich, mit viel Charme im anhaltenden Abgang.
Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is made from four Pinot Noir clones grown in the vineyard Ritchie and Wedding situated in Green Valley and Santa rosa Plain, a small but very distinct appellation within the Russian River Valley AVA.
