Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Gentle pressing followed by fermentation for around three weeks in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Subsequent maturation for 12 months – 50% in temperature-controlled stainless steel and 50% in concrete.
Deep ruby colour. Dense and aromatic on the nose, with dark forest fruit, cherry, spice, cocoa and a touch of herbs. Full-bodied on the palate, with concentrated ripe fruit and soft tannins. Fine spice and lots of berry fruit on a long-lasting finish.
The estate vineyards are situated in the region of Gallura in northern Sardinia. Geologically, the terrain here tends to consist of granite and sand – soils that are rich in potassium but contain significant amounts of phosphorus and nitrogen as well.
