Selective manual harvest of overripe grapes. Gentle pressing followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Long maturation on the fine lees to lend extra suppleness, texture and complexity.
Ripe peach and candied citrus of great intensity and concentration on the nose. Wonderful fruit expression on a pure, assertive, complex palate, with varied delightful flavours dovetailing with a beautiful vein of acidity to create a harmonious ensemble.
The weathered Devonian slate terroir of this steeply sloping vineyard offers ideal conditions for growing grapes thanks to its south-south-westerly aspect and gradients of up to 70 degrees.
