Whites: skin contact followed by cool, slow fermentation and subsequent maturation on the fine lees until bottling. Reds: maturation in large oak casks or in small oak barrels, depending on the quality. The estate's finest wines spend up to two years in oak.
Beautiful nose of apricot, pineapple and other exotic fruits. Distinctive ice-wine characteristics on the palate, with a whole range of beguiling flavours. This is a wonderful wine with vibrant, exquisite acidity. Persistent on the finish.
Weingut Theo Minges grows vines on a range of different terroir – from loess loam and red sandstone, to various types of calcareous soil.
