Selective manual harvest. Destemming followed by pressing. Fermentation in used oak barrels. No malolactic fermentation.
Aromatic nose of strawberry, raspberry and pink grapefruit alongside hints of exotic fruit. Fresh and beautifully balanced on the palate, with stimulating acidity and a pleasant note of residual sweetness. Extremely drinkable.
Since 2002, Michael Broger has been growing wine from the 2.5 hectares of vines that he owns and leases above the hamlet of Boltshausen. To preserve his vineyard soils, he works these steep slopes by hand and via the use of manually operated caterpillar-track machinery. Broger is fully committed to the principles of biodynamic viticulture.
