Selective manual harvest. Destemming followed by pressing. Fermentation in used oak barrels. No malolactic fermentation.
Fine aromas of exotic fruit, strawberry and grapefruit on the nose. Mild entry on the palate, with impressive stature, beautiful fruit expression and stimulating acidity.
Since 2002, Michael Broger has been growing wine from the 2.5 hectares of vines that he owns and leases above the hamlet of Boltshausen. To preserve his vineyard soils, he works these steep slopes by hand and via the use of manually operated caterpillar-track machinery. Broger is fully committed to the principles of biodynamic viticulture.
