Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Gentle pressing followed by vinification in stainless steel and subsequent maturation on the fine lees with no malolactic fermentation.
Pale straw-yellow. Floral entry on the nose followed by ripe pear, fresh lemon and delicately nutty aromas. Fresh, crisp, floral, and fruit-inflected on the palate, with enjoyable length on the finish.
Since 2002, Michael Broger has been growing wine from the 2.5 hectares of vines that he owns and leases above the hamlet of Boltshausen. To preserve his vineyard soils, he works these steep slopes by hand and via the use of manually operated caterpillar-track machinery. Broger is fully committed to the principles of biodynamic viticulture.
