Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Gentle pressing followed by vinification in stainless steel and subsequent maturation on the fine lees with no malolactic fermentation.
Aromatic nose of ripe honeydew melon, nutmeg, grapes, citrus and floral hints. Spritzy on the palate, with tremendous succulence and freshness leading into a fruit-driven, persistent finish.
Since 2002, Michael Broger has been growing wine from the 2.5 hectares of vines that he owns and leases above the hamlet of Boltshausen. To preserve his vineyard soils, he works these steep slopes by hand and via the use of manually operated caterpillar-track machinery. Broger is fully committed to the principles of biodynamic viticulture.
