Maturation for 15 months in oak, of which 20% was new. The wine was filtered before bottling.
A full-bodied, powerful Pinot Noir from Meursault, with dark berries, violet and fine roasted hints on the nose. Fine tannins coat the palate, with complex flavours of black fruit and spice complementing the wine's characteristic minerality.
The grapes come from a limestone-rich plot where the vines have an average age of 35 years. There are few Côte de Beaune appellations in which you will find Chardonnay and Pinot Noir growing in the same parcel.
