Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Destemming followed by controlled maceration (skin contact) and subsequent fermentation, partly in temperature-controlled stainless steel and partly in large oak casks. Maturation in large oak casks and Burgundian oak barrels, before bottling and subsequent release.
Deep ruby. Stunning, pure aromas of garrigue, red fruit and pepper on the nose. Outstanding concentration, great finesse and highly succulent tannins on the palate. This wine has tremendous innate power, with highly complex and precise notes of raspberry, spice and stone fruit. The finish is long and velvety with a hint of salinity.
Les Brusquières, a lieu-dit situated in the north-west of the appellation, benefits from a slightly cooler microclimate.
