Partial destemming of hand-picked grapes (50 to 80%, depending on the vintage). Vinification in concrete followed by maturation for 12 to 16 months in 225-litre barrels.
Nose of ripe red and dark berries, violet, herbs, leather, earth and dried smoked meat. This Cornas has a powerful and full-bodied palate, with lots of ripe tannin and a long finish.
From a warm, dry microclimate with granite soils. Comprising 1.5 hectares of exceptionally old vines.
