Gentle pressing of hand-picked grapes followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel. The wine was then left to rest for a short time before being bottled in the spring.
Pale lemon colour. Beautiful aromas of red apple, pear, ripe quince and citrus on the nose. Fresh on the palate, with a juicy mouthfeel and a persistent, mineral, saline finish.
The fruit sourced for this entry-level Riesling comes from vineyards in and around Monzingen, where the vines grow exclusively on the village's signature slate and Rotliegend soils.
