Manual harvest followed by vinification in oak as well as stainless steel, with little to no winemaking intervention. Then a long period of maturation on the gross lees. This pure, dry wine is neither fined nor filtered.
This is a fresh, crisp Mosel Riesling showing green apple, apricot, peach, lime and a hint of basil on the nose. Dry on the palate (3g/l of residual sugar and only 10.5% abv). Juicy acidity and a light body give tremendous balance and make this wine extremely drinkable. Fruit characters and wet stone minerality on the finish.
All the grapes for this bottling come from steep, organically farmed vineyards, with vines up to 60 years of age.
