Manual harvest followed by vinification in oak as well as stainless steel, with little to no winemaking intervention. Then a long period of maturation on the gross lees. This pure, dry wine is neither fined nor filtered.
Stony minerality, orange zest, exotic fruit, lemon grass and herbs on the nose. Dry, juicy palate with good concentration and a balanced body. Persistent finish with a wave of salty minerality and ripe citrus.
The grapes come from a selection of the best vineyards in Oberremmel, Dhron and Kinheim. The vines are at least 40 years of age, with a good proportion of them old and ungrafted.
