Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Cold maceration ('cold soak') for 24 hours followed by gentle pressing, then natural sedimentation to clarify the juice. Subsequent fermentation in stainless steel, with maturation for six months on the fine lees before bottling in June of the following year.
Pale lemon. Purity and complexity on the nose. Spicy and minerally with pome fruit aromas. Precise, juicy and vibrant structure on the palate, with a slightly saline characteristic. A masterpiece within its price segment.
Biengarten is a south-facing vineyard. It has a 10-degree incline and its soils consist of shell limestone.
