Maturation on the lees for as long as possible. Produced according to the traditional Champagne method.
This Sekt has a wonderful nose of fresh herbs, minerals, hints of papaya, and watermelon. It has a delicate, soft mousse and is mild, aromatic and lively on the finish.
The estate's vines grow on stony Rotliegend soils that are referred to as the Wadern geological formation. These soils mostly consist of different types of slate as well as quartzite and gravel. Halenberg has predominantly blue slate, while Frühlingsplätzchen is mainly formed of red and green-grey slate.
