Selective harvest followed by manual triage. Cold maceration ('cold soak') for 24 to 36 hours followed by a two-week fermentation. Subsequent maturation for 24 months in 92% first-use French oak, then bottle ageing for a minimum of nine months to add the finishing touches.
Complex, inviting nose with red and dark berries, plum, floral and herbal hints, truffle and elegant oak notes. Medium body and stunning elegance on the palate. The 2020 Harrison Hill is a multilayered red wine with an extremely long, complex finish. Only 3,500 bottles produced. Will continue to develop over the next 20 years.
Harrison Hill Vineyard has steep slopes with gravel and sandy loam soils. The Cabernet vines have reached a venerable age over the last 60 years and now yield only limited crops.
