Selective harvest. Cold maceration ('cold soak') for 24 to 36 hours followed by a two-week fermentation. Subsequent maturation for 18 months in 55% first-use French oak.
Named after the famous D2 wine road that runs from Bordeaux all the way through the Médoc, this wine has a complex nose of dark berries, graphite, liquorice and tobacco. Generous on the palate, with fine-grained tannins and beautiful balance.
Sourced from 15 different sites in the Columbia Valley – including Red Willow, Harrison Hill, Ciel du Cheval and Grand Ciel.
