Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Gentle whole-bunch pressing followed by fermentation. Subsequent maturation on the lees for ten months in 500 litre 100% first-use oak barrels, with minimal disturbance.
Dieser Sauvignon Blanc duftet intensiv nach Limettenzesten, Birne, Nektarine und Pfirsich, dazu gesellen sich mineralische Noten, die an kalkhaltiges Gestein und Meeresluft errinern. Am Gaumen beginnt der an Dagueneau errinernde Loire-Stil mit einer frischen, knackigen Säure und elgantem, mittelschwerem Körper. Die 100% Neuholz sind perfekt integriert und der Wein bleibt kühl mit langem salzig-mineralischen Finish.
This wine is a homage to the great wines of the Loire Valley (and specifically the late Didier Dagueneau), where 'the rocks decide' the style. The fruit is sourced from Marino Vineyard and Kick Ranch – two sites located in the heart of Sonoma County.
