Grapes from organically farmed vineyards, picked and destemmed by hand. Les Perruchets spends 10 months in used French oak barrels.
Delicate nose of pear, grapefruit, lemon zest and almond. Powerful and vibrant on the palate, with hints of candied fruit and a silky, mineral structure.
The estate comprises 12 hectares of vineyard around the village of Varrains in the heart of the Saumur-Champigny appellation. Les Perruchets is a single vineyard, ideally located on heavy limestone soils with clay and rocks on top.
