Manual harvest only, involving meticulous selection of the grapes. Maceration (skin contact) to achieve the best possible extraction of aromas, flavours and colour. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats at 22°C. The wine spent about 5 months in 500-litre French oak barrels and stainless steel vats in order to mature and undergo malolactic fermentation.
Expressive nose of red fruit, herbs, dried flowers, and spice. This red wine has a balanced, medium body showing lots of freshness, ripe tannin and a persistent, fruit-inflected finish.
Sourced from vines that grow 100 to 150 metres above sea level. The local soil is a type of red limestone referred to locally as call vermell. This wine is made exclusively from high-quality fruit.
