Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes undergo a cold maceration ('cold soak') before the juice starts to ferment after three to five days. Fermentation takes 15 to 20 days. After pressing, the wine matures for 20 months in small Burgundian oak barrels.
Medium purple. Perfumed on the nose, with blackberry, blackcurrant, cherry and coffee aromas that continue as flavours on the palate. Fine tannins. Elegant, balanced and persistent on the finish.
Situated on the vertiginous terraced slopes that overlook this part of Lake Geneva, the vines for this wine mainly grow on heavy, clayey soils.
