Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Fermentation followed by gentle pressing. Subsequent maturation for 22 months in brand-new French oak barrels.
Unmistakeably Cabernet Sauvignon! Fresh aromas of blackberry, blueberry and dark plum, along with coffee, sweet exotic spice, graphite, and vanilla. Full-bodied on the palate, with good concentration, richness and depth. Everything in perfect balance. Gorgeous long finish.
The fruit for this wine was sourced from the Champoux Mach One vineyards. Champoux, situated at an elevation of between 600 and 800 metres, is one of the oldest vineyards in Washington State and has soils predominantly consisting of loam and basalt.
