The grapes were sourced from the Bigolla vineyard. Manual harvest followed by traditional vinification with native yeasts. Maturation for 16 to 22 months in French oak, then at least one year of bottle ageing. No filtering.
Ruby colour. Ripe fruit nose with plum, dried berries, raisins, sandalwood and fine spice. Powerful on the palate, with ripe tannins and delicate balsamic characters. Lovely concentration. This Barbera has a long finish with ripe fruit notes.
Mainly limestone and loam soils.
