Hand-picked grapes transported swiftly back to the winery. Triage and gentle pressing. Fermentation in 1'200-litre oak vessels. All the estate's wines are vegan, i.e. no animal products were used in the vinification process.
Exotic nose of peach and papaya along with ripe pear. Juicy mouthfeel with saline minerality, power, elegance and finesse. Candied fruit and chalky minerality on a long finish.
The vineyards of the famous Rüdesheim hill sit on medium-to-deep Taunus quartzite soils that have a light covering of slate.
