Late, selective manual harvest in October. Destemming followed by a cold maceration ('cold soak'), then gentle pressing. Addition of selected yeasts to trigger fermentation for three months in new oak.
Pale straw-yellow with golden reflections. Intense and complex on the nose, with exotic and white fruit and blossom aromas. Soft entry with beautiful ripe fruit and a hint of salinity. A wonderful, distinctive wine.
Sourced from pergola- and Guyot-trained vines situated at elevations of between 200 and 550 metres above sea level in and around Furore and surrounding municipalities. The vineyards here are south-facing with soils consisting of calcareous Dolomite rock.
