Late manual harvest. Cool fermentation for seven to eight days in stainless steel. Subsequent maturation in stainless steel for around eight months at a steady temperature and a high level of humidity, then bottling. No filtering.
Deep ruby. Cherry with a touch of jasmine and rosemary on the nose. This highly concentrated wine packs quite a punch. Floral and meaty at once. Wonderful acidity. Tightly woven and rich with a long finish.
Sourced from vines that grow 330 metres above sea level in the Garblèt, Serra and Ca' Mia vineyards of Castiglione di Falletto and Serralunga d'Alba. These sites have a south-south-easterly aspect and soils mainly comprised of loam and limestone.
