Experienced winemaker and viticulturalist Achim von Oetinger uses stainless steel vats in his cellar to ensure a controlled, precise fermentation.
Subtle nose of citrus, quince, flint and herbs. Bone dry, concentrated and linear on the palate. Very long, multilayered finish with intense minerality.
Siegelsberg in Erbach covers 8.65 hectares. Its soil consists of loess-loam, limestone and layers of clay. With their southerly and south-westerly aspect, the vines enjoy plenty of sunshine as well as shelter from the prevailing winds. Gradient of 10 to 30%.
