Hand-picked Riesling fruit from the Berg Roseneck grand cru, transported directly back to the winery. Meticulous selection followed by gentle pressing. Fermentation in large oak casks. Subsequent maturation on the fine lees for one year. After bottling, the wine is held back for late release.
Ripe nose showing depth, density, grip and complexity. This young, elegant, slightly salty Riesling is crackling with energy. Monumental.
Berg Roseneck faces south and is situated between Berg Schlossberg and Berg Rottland. The soil is shallow, consisting of stony loam with layers of slate and quartzite.
