No pesticides or herbicides in the vineyard. Gentle vinification with only subtle use of oak. An average of 25% new oak for both reds and whites. Since 2012, the property has also been using larger vessels in addition to traditional 228-litre pièces.
Delicate yet intense on the nose, with yellow stone fruit and orange blossom. Well defined on the palate, with fine acidity and subtle salinity. Beautiful, linear finish.
The Bachelet brothers farm 20 hectares of vineyard in Puligny-Montrachet, Santenay, Saint-Aubin, Meursault, Maranges and Dezize-lès-Maranges. Their Pinot Noir vines have an average age of 50 years, their Chardonnay vines an average age of 40 years.
