Gentle vinification, with wines transferred by gravity only and not even filtered in most cases. Wild-yeast fermentation without temperature control in 500-litre oak vessels, followed by a very long period on the lees (including bâtonnage).
Medium lemon-green colour. Exquisite scent of papaya, ripe peach, spice, quince and orange on the nose. Mineral and elegant, with a complex structure and a juicy finish. Wonderful ageing potential.
Sourced from vines that were planted up to 35 years ago on gravelly loess – ideal terrain for Grüner Veltliner.
