Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Gentle pressing followed by fermentation. Subsequent maturation, including malolactic fermentation, in large oak barrels (except Sauvignon Blanc). Blending after almost one year, then further maturation on the fine lees in stainless steel for three years.
Intense nose of exotic fruit, with melon and mango, Williams pear, white peach, blackcurrant, and gooseberry. The palate is characterful and distinctive. Delicious and fresh, with a beautiful balance of acidity and minerality.
Sourced from selected south-south-west-facing vineyard sites in Appiano, where the soils consist of limestone gravel and moraine debris.
