Maturation in 30% used oak barrels and 70% stainless steel. No sulphur additions and no racking.
Nose of ripe berry fruit, dried herbs and oriental spice, accompanied by a slightly earthy note and a hint of leather. On the palate, this Cabernet Franc has a medium body with firm acidity. Its fine, ripe fruit characters dovetail with herbal notes on a persistent finish. Make sure to give this wine enough time and air.
The vines grow on a subsoil of hard tuff limestone with silex and sandy loam.
