Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Gentle pressing followed by fermentation. Subsequent maturation, including malolactic fermentation, in large oak barrels (except Sauvignon Blanc). Blending after almost one year, then further maturation on the fine lees in stainless steel for three years.
Intense nose of exotic fruit, with kiwi and pineapple, Williams pear, white peach, gooseberry, hazlenut and spices. The palate is fresh with a lot of character and a beautiful balance. Powerful and long finish with notes of alpine herbs and exotic fruit.
Sourced from selected south-south-west-facing vineyard sites in Appiano, where the soils consist of limestone gravel and moraine debris.
