Paladin

The Paladin family have been growing wine in Veneto since 1962, harnessing their experience to cultivate native grape varieties and give a voice to the terroir around them. Their authentic wines marry tradition and innovation and enjoy a considerable following.

Established by Valentino Paladin 60 years ago, this estate straddles the border between eastern Veneto and Friuli. Valentin’s three children, Lucia, Carlo and Roberto, now run the business.

Tradition and innovation

The siblings have a very traditional approach to viticulture and winemaking. Lessons from the past continue to inform the winery’s present and future, because the Paladin family believe that wine is the ultimate expression of authenticity. Experience combined with an inquisitive approach have enabled them to balance tradition with innovation.

Sustainably produced Prosecco

Preserving the flora and fauna through thoughtful, sustainable winegrowing is an enduring objective, which the Paladins continue to achieve with the help of their team of dedicated viticulturists. The estate’s fresh, approachable Proseccos are also popular in Switzerland.

“We make 90% of our wine in the vineyard by understanding, respecting and making the most of nature’s gifts. The remaining 10% that we add at the winery is a culmination of all the work that we have done over the year. This is where our knowledge and expertise come into play to ensure that the essence of our terroir is retained.”
