Emmanuel Brochet’s cellar contains a veritable treasure trove of wines – high-end champagnes available only in limited quantities and imbued with incredible finesse, minerality and balance.

In 1997, Emmanuel Brochet took over a small vineyard situated in Villers-aux-Nœuds just south of the city of Reims. These holdings comprise 2.5 hectares all within a single plot – the lieu-dit of Le Mont Benoit. 

Biodynamic on Le Mont Benoît

The slopes of Le Mont Benoît are a mixture of silt, clay and chalk. They are home to an assortment of young and old vines, the oldest dating as far back as 1962. Emmanuel cultivates his vines meticulously and according to biodynamic principles.

Handcrafted

In the cellar, he works extremely carefully as well as manually as much as possible. He is nevertheless open to the use of technology, which he integrates judiciously into the vinification process. Emmanuel produces around 11,000 bottles of champagne every year.
