Hand-picked grapes transported swiftly back to the winery. Triage and gentle pressing. Fermentation in 1'200-litre oak vessels. All the estate's wines are vegan, i.e. no animal products were used in the vinification process.
Fresh nose of grapefruit and lemon along with white peach and slightly exotic notes. Dry on the palate despite 5.5 g/l of residual sugar, with juicy acidity. This Riesling has a medium finish, showing lemon and walnut flavours as well as wet stone minerality.
Der nach Süd-Südwest exponierte Hang liegt oberhalb der Gemeinde Johannisberg. Der Taunusquarzit ist mit mittel- bis tiefgründigen Lössen und Lösslehme überzogen.
