Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Traditional grape-treading to crush and macerate the fruit as gently as possible. Subsequent gentle pressing followed by maturation for nine to 10 months in Burgundian oak barrels. No pumping, fining or filtering.
Medium ruby. Floral fragrances on a very subtle nose. Balanced mouthfeel with powerful spice and red fruit. Cool, elegant and very juicy, with fresh acidity making this a distinctively structured wine.
Sourced from vines aged between 60 and 70 years, on very poor mineral-rich granite and slate soils.
