Rosé wine
Rosé is made from red grapes – the common method is to leave the grapes on the skins for a few hours. How much colour you get depends on how long the grapes continue macerating. Blending white and red wine to make rosé is forbidden in the EU. The only exception to this rule applies to champagne.
