Character
Medium straw-yellow with golden reflections. Intense and powerful on the nose, with exotic fruit, sweet spice and rose petal aromas. Concentrated on the palate, with wonderful richness and an accentuated, aromatic finish.
Winemaking
Late, selective manual harvest. Short period of maceration (skin contact) followed by gentle pressing, then vinification in stainless steel.
Terroir
Choice plots in the municipalities of Cortaccia, Caldaro and Appiano, situated at elevations of 300 to 500 metres above sea level, with a south-easterly aspect and soils consisting of loamy limestone gravel.
