The estate's Cuvée Sauvage has been blended with red Pinot Meunier wine to produce this zero-dosage champagne. The red wine came from fruit grown in the Chaillets Loupettes plot. Maturation for two years in oak vessels, with subsequent lees ageing in bottle for around 48 months. Only 504 bottles of this champagne were made.
The base wines were from 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Disgorgement: March 2021
Cherry red colour, with an intense, fresh, fruity nose of red berries and preserved cherry. Delicately floral with subtle nut aromas. Complex, intricate, fruity and slightly spicy on the palate, with great elegance and fine, creamy bubbles. Pronounced body and silky structure, with a long-lasting, wine-like finish.
