After an initial sorting in the vineyard, the grapes are sorted a second time when they arrive at the cellar. Fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. Subsequent maturation on the fine lees for 12 months.
This gold-coloured Albariño is an aromatic, fresh, complex wine. Very pronounced signature varietal notes of ripe fruit, with a long finish.
From Albariño vines planted over 55 years ago. The vineyards at Bodegas Casa Monte Pío are comprised of small plots. Diminutive holdings like these dominate the Galician landscape.
